She is a friend of Misa Amane and appears in chapter 48, "Give-and-Take."
During the Yotsuba investigation, Misa is required to be accompanied by Mogi at all times. She discreetly arranges a meeting with Nori.
Misa is starring in a major film. After a location shoot one day, she requests to use the ladies' room in a local hospital. Inside a cubicle, Nori waits, dressed as a nurse. The two quickly swap clothes and wigs. Misa explains that she wants some privacy for a date but finds it difficult due to her celebrity status.
Nori is excited to wear Misa's clothes, indicating she is a fan of Misa, the famous model and actress.
Now dressed as a nurse with a black wig, Misa slips past Mogi and goes out for a drive with Higuchi, intending to expose him as the Yotsuba Kira.
Meanwhile, Nori approaches Mogi. Realizing he has been tricked, Mogi quickly alerts the rest of the Kira Task Force. They have to wait until Misa returns in the evening, bringing evidence that Higuchi is Kira.
