The principal of Jinbo Elementary School, Narunaru, is well-liked for his easy-going nature and his constant reassurance that "Everything will be all right." He rarely gets angry, but an exception was made when he found out that Akito had once made Miss Mitsuya cry. It was Principal Narunaru who suggested that Akito take up karate. Interestingly, his older twin brother, who looks almost identical to him, is the principal of Jinbo Middle School.
