Senri Shiki's mother was once the mistress of Rido Kuran. In her younger years, she was a renowned and respected actress. Following her relationship with Rido, she became mentally unstable and unable to take care of herself adequately.
Her eyes have a light blue hue, making it clear from whom Senri inherited his appearance, though she comments that he is starting to look more like "that demonic bastard," referring to Rido Kuran.
Little information is available about her, as she only makes vague appearances in the manga and anime. When Senri was young, she projected her emotions onto him, inadvertently causing Senri to become doll-like to protect his mother and prevent further worry. Senri describes her as greedy when she demands blood from him. Rido described her as easily manipulated.
As an aristocrat, Lady Shiki possesses an unnatural beauty and enjoys a longer lifespan than humans. She has the ability to consume blood and heal her injuries at an accelerated rate.
