Age: Mid 30s Birthday: June 20 Miyo is a nurse at the village clinic with a deep fascination for Hinamizawa's history and culture. She meticulously records her theories in notebooks. Her storytelling often takes on a mysterious and chilling tone, seemingly delighting in creating unease among her listeners. In the first six arcs, she vanishes every Watanagashi night, and an incinerated body believed to be hers is discovered in the mountains. However, it is later revealed that Miyo is the orchestrator behind the events in Hinamizawa, aiming to validate her grandfather's research by killing Rika. Her influence is so potent that it directly and indirectly manipulates the villagers. In reality, she fakes her death throughout the first six arcs (the corpse in the barrel is actually stolen), and she kills Rika in three of these arcs, aligning with her "Queen Carrier" theory to bring about the Great Hinamizawa Disaster.
