maebara keiichi

Birthdate: April 13, 1967 Maebara Keiichi is the main protagonist in the first three arcs of Higurashi: When They Cry—Onikakushi-hen, Watanagashi-hen, and Tatarigoroshi-hen. He is the son of a renowned and exceedingly wealthy artist. After experiencing a series of unfortunate and distressing events in his hometown, Keiichi recently relocated to Hinamizawa. His charismatic personality, lively demeanor, and talent for conversation help him integrate quickly into the town and make new friends. He also excels in some club activities. In situations where he needs a weapon, he uses an old bat that belonged to Satoshi. Keiichi often finds himself on the receiving end of jokes during club activities, whether it's being the correct answer in games they play or having to wear embarrassing costumes as punishment for losing.
