Aoi's appointed guardian and caretaker, she has dedicated most of her life to looking after Aoi and supporting her growth. She is also highly involved in the operations of the Sakuraba Department Store. Generally strict, she enforces the rules of the Sakuraba summer house as its manager. Initially, she dislikes Kaoru and his friends, but eventually accepts him due to the mutual feelings between Aoi and Kaoru. Her stern demeanor softens somewhat when she loses a drinking game to Tina, who is newly introduced. She enjoys smashing watermelons during the summer. Though she appears to be a tough workaholic, she reveals a deeply compassionate side. When the pet ferret was in danger of being crushed by a large heirloom clock, despite her initial dislike for the animal, she quickly found a crowbar to rescue it. The ferret later became more attached to her than to Tina. Aoi explains that the ferret could sense Miyabi’s kindheartedness beneath her strict exterior. In the manga, it is revealed that her parents worked for the Sakuraba family before they died in an accident. Aoi’s mother then took in the orphaned Miyabi, assigning her the responsibility of caring for Aoi. She holds great respect for Aoi, addressing her with the honorific "-sama." After accepting Kaoru, she adds the honorific "-dono" to his name. Her name, Miyabi, means "refinement," fitting her role in training Aoi to become a good wife.
