Misao is a girl from the Kannagi household. Although inherently kind, as evidenced by her saving Kazuma from bullying ten years ago, Misao blames Kazuma for her brother's death and makes multiple attempts to kill him. Her efforts are unsuccessful, and she ends up being manipulated into Michael's scheme to bring Kazuma down. The power bestowed upon her by Michael allows her to drain life from others to boost her own abilities. This power not only enhances her but also distorts her personality, causing her to exude a dark, malevolent aura. With this newfound strength, Misao goes on to kill nearly a hundred people to increase her power. She even turns against her own family, killing her father and several relatives without hesitation when they try to stop her. After being defeated by Kazuma and realizing that Michael was merely using her, Misao is absorbed into a monster summoned by Michael, fueled by the power she had accumulated from her victims. Thankfully, Ayano manages to save her by using cleansing flames, with assistance from Kazuma who has a contract, to destroy the monster and free Misao. Realizing the gravity of her actions, Misao decides to become a shrine nun to atone for her deeds. She appears to forgive Kazuma, acknowledging that she still owes him for all he did for the Kannagis. She recalls her promise that he could do anything he wanted to her, blushing as she speaks.
