kannagi juugo

Jūgo is Ayano's father and Genma's cousin, serving as the current head of the Kannagi family. He harbors concerns about his strong-willed daughter. Unlike the Kannagi doctrine that values strength above all else, Jūgo has been striving to end discrimination against the Fūga Clan. He also feels regret for not preventing Kazuma's expulsion from the family. Believing Kazuma to be crucial to the Kannagis, Jūgo frequently creates opportunities for Ayano to build a relationship with Kazuma. As the leader of the Kannagi family, Jūgo oversees the activities of the head family, branch families, and the Fūga Clan. Throughout the series, Jūgo is consistently shown within the confines of the Kannagi compound, rarely venturing out, and almost never leaving his meeting room. He is acknowledged as the strongest En-jutsushi within the Kannagi, wielding the purple flame. However, due to a leg injury sustained in a car accident, Genma, the father of Kazuma and Ren, is considered the strongest.
