Mieu is a blue Cheagle. Cheagles are revered as holy by the Order of Lorelei, owing to a pact made with Yulia, symbolized by the Sorcerer's Ring. This ring grants Cheagles the ability to communicate with other creatures and humans, as well as harness the power of various Fonons to acquire new abilities, such as flight by flapping their ears. Mieu joins Luke's group after being exiled for one seasonal cycle by an elder Cheagle for accidentally setting fire to the forest where the Ligers reside, which led to the Ligers preying on Cheagles for food. Mieu quickly develops a fondness for Luke, addressing him as "Master," and naively accepting the nickname, "Thing". Although Luke initially mistreats and mocks Mieu without much cause, he later feels remorseful about his behavior. However, Mieu viewed Luke's actions as playful affection and thanked Luke for giving him a "name". He often ends his sentences with "desu no." (Source: Wikipedia)
