stryfe meryl

Meryl Stryfe and her junior colleague Milly were dispatched by the Bernardelli Insurance Society to assess claims related to Vash the Stampede. Despite her stern demeanor and short temper, she is fundamentally a kind-hearted individual.
Although she seldom engages in combat alongside Vash, she conceals numerous derringer-style "throwaway" pistols beneath her coat. She once referred to herself as "Derringer Meryl."
Initially, Meryl finds Vash to be an annoyance and dismisses the notion that he could be the legendary Humanoid Typhoon. As time progresses, she comes to realize that Vash is neither the villain portrayed nor merely the fool he appears to be. Gradually, she develops respect for Vash and falls deeply in love with him.
Towards the end of the anime, it is suggested that Meryl might be the reincarnation of Rem Saverem. This concept, however, does not appear in the manga and may have been an independent decision by the anime producers.
Hints suggest that Meryl has family-related issues. Early in Trigun Maximum, she celebrates her 23rd birthday, indicating she was 21 at the start of Trigun.
Meryl is notably short, more so in the manga than in the anime.
In Trigun Stampede, she's a new reporter who just joined the Bernardelli News Agency. In pursuit of a major scoop, she encounters Vash and becomes entangled in the fate that surrounds him. Hailing from a wealthy family, she also possesses a somewhat naive side.
