Link, despite the title of the series "The Legend of Zelda," is the central protagonist and hero in the Zelda franchise games. He is typically portrayed wearing a green tunic along with a green floppy hat. Across the numerous games released, various incarnations of Link have emerged throughout Hyrule's history, each rising to the challenge of saving the world from evil, primarily from the malevolent Ganondorf, the King of Thieves. However, in the narratives of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, it is the same Link we encounter. Additionally, the Link featured in Wind Waker is the same as the one in Phantom Hourglass.
Link is depicted as courageous and bold. Though he never speaks in the games, in the manga, he displays no shyness, engaging in plenty of conversation. Through his dialogue, we see that Link is also curious and once he sets his sights on a goal, he pursues it relentlessly. Our savior of Hyrule has been the only one capable of wielding the Master Sword, the blade that banishes evil. His swordsmanship is unmatched across the land of Hyrule, and he (typically) wields his weapons with his left hand.
