Lala is an exchange student from Mexico and a skilled practitioner of "Lucha Libre" wrestling. She is part of the same amateur wrestling club as Ichijou, whom she considers her rival, often shouting "Ichijou!" whenever they meet. Lala has a strong dislike for the name Karen because her mother, who left her and her father when she was young, shared that name.
She particularly despises Imadori, a notorious pervert known for his obsession with women's chests. Lala once found herself being groped by him while he was choking her, which only intensified her hatred. Consequently, she tends to beat him up whenever she encounters him after sufficient provocation. Lala works at the same fast food restaurant as Ichijo, but due to her violent temper, no one dares to approach her counter. She even grabs and drags annoying customers inside for a beating.
Her closest friends seem to be Harry Mackenzie and Masakazu Tougou, who both look out for her. Over time, her rivalry with Ichijo softens. Lala's character contrasts sharply with her rival Ichijou; she is tall, well-endowed, sour-faced, hot-tempered, and easily provoked.
