Eri is one of Tenma's close friends. Her father is British, and her mother is Japanese. She struggles significantly with Kanji. Eri comes from an extremely wealthy background and can sometimes appear spoiled, fitting the stereotype of Western Europeans in Japan being billionaires and very snobby. Despite her wealth, she deeply admires her father but cannot spend much time with him due to his demanding work schedule.

Eri has a crush on Harima and becomes intensely jealous and upset whenever there are rumors about him dating someone else. This jealousy has strained her relationships with Mikoto and Yakumo at times. For a long time, Eri was unaware that Harima's true love interest was Tenma. She finally realized this on the night of her birthday party after observing Harima's happiness when he is alone with Tenma. Nevertheless, they stage a fake marriage for her family’s sake at the end of the manga and are often seen together, hinting at a potential relationship.
In "School Rumble Z," Eri works as a flight attendant and still seems to be searching for Harima. In the final chapter, she is depicted entering Karasuma's hospital room with Harima, holding a baby, which suggests that she has married Harima.
