Krad is the complete opposite of Dark, even spelling Dark's name backwards, and serves as Dark's greatest nemesis. Krad is the homicidal blonde in the series and acts as the alter-ego of Hiwatari Satoshi. It was Daisuke who triggered Satoshi's first transformation into Krad. Wiz utterly despises Krad and always tries to attack him on sight. Krad exhibits an obsessive nature, attempting to kill Daisuke after their initial encounter due to his possessiveness over Satoshi, whom he affectionately calls "My everything." However, Satoshi, like his ancestors, harbors a deep hatred for Krad.
Unlike Dark, Krad relies solely on his own wings and is fully prepared to use his magic without regard for Satoshi's wellbeing. While Daisuke transforms into Dark because of feelings of love, Krad can emerge from Satoshi at any moment, likely due to his greater willingness to harm his host. Conversely, Satoshi can often force Krad back inside his body. A popular nickname for Krad is "Homicidal Blond." Krad does not have a last name but refers to Dark with the surname "Mousy," reflecting his feelings towards him.
