Nanami is another trusted right-hand man of Morihiko Dan. He excels in the art of disguise and is frequently tasked by Dan to monitor Class Q by blending in as one of the suspects. Despite his carefree nature, which includes delighting in showing off new tricks to Class Q—much to Ryu's annoyance—Nanami can become extremely serious when necessary. His favorite disguise is that of a cactus, often paired with a flashy, brightly patterned sombrero or Mexican outfit. This particular guise tends to appear when he is under stress, such as when he had to step in for Dan-sensei as the head of DDS during Dan-sensei's hospital stay.
