amagi kouga

Kouga is Konoha's older brother and the grandson of Mitsugai Amagi. He excels both academically and in sports, particularly soccer. Despite being popular with girls, he struggles with how to act around them, described by Jin as "so honest, it hurts." Kouga's strong sense of justice stems from his childhood fascination with the anime 'Ginga Choujin Alphasz'. This sense was further solidified after a fire incident involving a Player, where Jin encouraged him to become a hero of justice. Since middle school, Kouga has relied on a trio of researchers for gadgets to aid his adventures. He lost his right forearm during captivity by Jirou Nakata, along with his sense of justice. After rescuing Mayu, he received a smart prosthetic arm, later revealed by Hayami to have a tracking system, and underwent months of rehabilitation. During this period, Kouga regained his composure and began dating Mayu. Upon learning about the Players and his grandfather's involvement, he initiated the Alphasz Project with the Trio, creating a high-performance combat suit inspired by his childhood hero, equipped with advanced weaponry and gadgets to fight his grandfather's creations. However, his Alphasz suit proved insufficient against Souya. He is very protective of his family, especially his sister, Konoha. In his first battle as Alphasz, he teamed up with Jin/ZET to defeat the Shrimp EVOL, discovering Jin's identity as ZET. Kouga told Jin that he is the world's best hope against the Players and vowed to catch up to him. When Hayami tried to capture Jin, Kouga went into hiding with Konoha, Jin, Mei, Shimura, Hanae, and the two black suits until he convinced his father to clear Jin of all charges, though Seizou warned him not to trust Jin. During the assault on Amagi Corp., Kouga was captured and detained by Hayami, who injected him with a bug created by Ichirou's clone, granting superhuman abilities but leaving his body crippled afterward. Upon regaining consciousness, Kouga donned his Alphasz suit and used his new powers and weapons to defeat the Knight Player. In a conversation with Haitani, Kouga revealed he would kill Jin if he became the monster he swore to destroy. Haitani gave him the "Crimson Stake" to place in Jin's chest, to test if Jin could remain himself. Before Kouga could use the stake, Jin stopped him, saying it was exactly what Haitani wanted. The fate of Kouga after Jin's blackout remains unknown.
