A white-haired hermit with a penchant for pickles, Kirin resides on the outskirts of Entotsu City. Known for his profound knowledge about O-Parts and his exceptional skills as a swordsman, he was once a Stea officer and is now accompanied by his dog, Jajamaru. Despite his genius, he is not an OPT. His brother, Kujaku, claims that no one has ever wounded Kirin in battle.
Kirin decided to travel with Jio, Ruby, and Ball after they left Entotsu City, seeking something to alleviate his boredom. He is the son of a Cyclops father and an OPT mother, making him the nephew of Mei's grandfather. Kirin possesses a rare third eye on his forehead, a trait uncommon even among Cyclops. His weapon of choice is a katana.
Fans speculate that Kirin might be the reincarnation of the Arcaido spirit due to his extensive knowledge of O-Parts and his mixed heritage. As a child, he trained under his father alongside his brother to become a skilled swordsman. Every day, he would spar with his brother and consistently defeat him until the day his brother acquired the power of the Adramelech demon and killed their father.
In an attempt to be seen as normal and stop his brother's hatred, Kirin tried to destroy his third eye as a child. Unable to harm it, he instead blinded his left eye, leaving him with only two functional eyes: his right eye and his Cyclops eye.
