Height: 180 cm Weight: 72 kg Birthday: April 30 Kengo is a member of the Little Busters. He excels in kendo and has a cynical personality, but his dedication to the Little Busters is unparalleled when he truly opens up. He embodies honor and sophistication, which complements his physical prowess, evident in his claim of being undefeated in 100 kendo matches. Despite this, he can be quite naive and childish. Like the others, all he wants is to have fun. However, he tends to maintain a calm, mature demeanor, often acting as the straight man in the group. Initially, he supports Kyousuke's plan to strengthen Rin and Riki in the artificial world. Over time, however, his stance changes. He insists that Riki and Rin remain in the artificial world forever, believing he will protect them. Kengo doesn't think they can grow strong enough to face their fate in the real world. He frequently challenges Kyousuke's methods and even physically confronts him during the baseball battle after Kyousuke "bends the rules" to secure victory. In reality, Kengo couldn't accept his supposed early death, especially since he spent much of his youth practicing kendo for his family instead of playing more with the Little Busters. He even pretends his arm is broken so he could spend more time with them in the artificial world. After being defeated by Riki and Rin during the second test in Refrain, he acknowledges their growth and his own weaknesses while crying. He finally aligns with Kyousuke and the rest as he confronts his feelings. During the initial bus accident, Kengo saved Rin's life by shielding her with his body. (Source: Little Busters Wikia)
