Kei Kuruma stands as the sole female among the four main protagonists. Unlike her peers, Kei has been aware of her ARMS throughout her entire life. Raised by the Bluemen—an organization dedicated to combating Egrigori and responsible for originally implanting ARMS in the four teenagers—Kei was groomed as an elite soldier. However, due to many Bluemen viewing her merely as a weapon rather than a person, Kei's upbringing was marked by profound loneliness, bitterness, and even a touch of viciousness. Her outlook transforms when she meets Ryo and the other ARMS subjects, the only individuals who truly understand her. With them, she finally experiences genuine friendship and teamwork. Additionally, Kei and Hayato appear to be growing closer over time, though whether this will evolve into a romantic relationship remains uncertain. Kei's ARMS is known as the Queen of Hearts and is centered in her eyes. This ARMS grants her an array of powerful sensors, including magnification and infrared capabilities. Kei can predict a punch before it is thrown or a bullet's trajectory before it leaves the barrel, allowing her to avoid these threats. She can also activate, enhance, and deactivate the ARMS of her teammates. The nano-machines of the Queen of Hearts enable Kei to heal from injuries much faster than a normal human, even when not transformed. Kei affectionately refers to these nano-machines as her "nano-babies." The final form of the Queen of Hearts manifests as a magnificent woman composed of light. Kei continues to uncover all the abilities of her ARMS. When the Queen of Hearts first displayed its ultimate form in volume 10, it managed to stop and reverse the out-of-control transformations of the Jabberwock, Knight, and White Rabbit. In Volume 16, the Queen of Hearts evolves to gain the ability "Mirror of Aegis," which can reflect an attack with equal or greater power. In volume 18, the Queen of Hearts reveals to Kei that it holds the ultimate endgame weapon among all ARMS units. By simply saying the word "Destroy," all ARMS units descended from Alice, including Alice herself, will be permanently deactivated, leading to the death of all hosts, including her friends. Whether Kei possesses the mental strength to use this ability remains unknown.
