NYPD, Section 2 Division 2 Team 2: She is a temporary member of Section 2, assigned from the NYPD. Her mission is to observe a labor unit with the goal of aiding in the establishment of one for New York City. She excels in all her duties. Her piloting skills surpass Ohta's, but she was placed in a backup role because adapting the Labor to a temporary officer would not be wise. (Moreover, keeping Ohta in check is not a task for someone lacking in intelligence). Similar to Nagumo, Kanuka strictly adheres to regulations. She maintains a professional demeanor and can sometimes come off as cold towards SV.2 members, with the exception of Noa. Born in Hawaii, Kanuka later relocated to New York. Whenever she visits New York, she makes a stop in Hawaii to see her beloved grandmother. Kanuka's piloting abilities are formidable. Goto acknowledges this, which is why he called on her to assist SV2 in the first movie.
