One of the Dragons of Earth, a dreamseer trapped in a permanent coma, he appears as a tall man with a melancholic expression, golden eyes, long pale hair, and is almost always dressed in white. His talent for seeing the future in dreams was discovered when he was young, leading to his imprisonment by an unidentified political group. Never having seen the outside world, he encountered Sumeragi Hokuto in his dreams and fell in love with her after she shared visions of the sea through her imagination. However, foreseeing her death at the hands of the Sakurazukamori, he attempted to escape to save her but was shot by one of his guards using a sniper rifle. He failed to reach her in time and subsequently fell into the coma that persists throughout the X story. Convinced that the future cannot be changed, he began to wish for his own death, though he was unable to end his life due to his physical state.
In Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, he is one of the seven fighters aligned with the City Hall faction in Tokyo. Possessing the ability to see the future through his dreams, he welcomes Syaoran's group with less hostility than others, having already foreseen their arrival.
