takamiya kaito

Kaito is a vampire hunter and an aspiring teacher at Cross Academy. For a period, he trained alongside Zero and Ichiru Kiryuu under the guidance of Yagari. During this time, Kaito and Zero developed a strong friendship.

While training with the Kiryuu twins, Kaito often bullied Ichiru, harboring intense resentment towards him for his perceived weakness and the hindrance it caused to both himself and Zero.

Kaito had an older brother who was also a vampire hunter. Unlike Kaito, his brother preferred solitude and disappeared during a mission. Subsequently, Kaito and Zero were dispatched on a mission to eliminate a Level E vampire. Shockingly, they discovered that the vampire was Kaito's own brother. Upon realizing the truth, Kaito made the difficult decision to kill his brother.
