At the start of the story, Jun is a successful supermodel in Tokyo. One day, she encounters Lan Asuka, a woman who forces her to face a werewolf-like creature known as a Devil-beast. As the beast attacks Jun, her latent powers awaken, transforming her into a Devil-beast as well. With her newfound abilities, she overpowers and defeats the beast before reverting to her human form. Asuka then reveals that she belongs to a military organization called the Human Alliance, dedicated to hunting down and eliminating all individuals affected by Devil Beast Syndrome. Asuka presents Jun with an ultimatum: join their hunt or become their target. Left with no other choice, Jun agrees to comply with Asuka's demands. Jun is typically a reserved and shy individual who tends to steer clear of social engagements, except when it comes to two people. She is generally open with her manager and shows friendliness towards Kazumi, a young aspiring model. Over time, Jun grows more self-reliant. Notably, she is the second person with Devil Beast Syndrome who can maintain her reasoning abilities. In the manga version, Jun's character is quite different. From the beginning, she is portrayed as strong and outgoing. Additionally, she works as a gym teacher rather than a model.
