jinmen

Jinmen is depicted as a devil with a shell reminiscent of a turtle. However, this shell bears the faces of all the humans he has ever consumed. Instead of killing them, they remain alive, integrated into his being. In the manga, Miki's niece, Sachiko, becomes one of Jinmen's victims. In the OVA, it is Akira's mother who falls prey to him. In Devilman Crybaby, Jinmen is portrayed as Akira's father, who also consumes Akira's mother. Jinmen first appears in the opening of the first OVA with a design similar to his manga appearance, but this was altered in the second OVA. His battle against Akira in "Cyborg 009 VS Devilman" provides the most accurate depiction of their confrontation from any adaptation.
