Juliet Fiametta Asto Capulet stands as the final member of the Capulet family. To evade capture by the usurping House of Montague, who are still actively hunting down the Capulets, she disguises herself as a boy named Odin. An exceptional swordsman, she also assumes the identity of the Red Whirlwind, a vigilante who aids those oppressed by the rival Montagues. Initially, Juliet has no memory of her tumultuous past and resents being forced to dress as a boy. The truth about her lineage is revealed to her by Conrad on her sixteenth birthday. Soon after unsheathing the Capulet Ghat, memories of the fateful night 14 years ago begin to resurface. Despite this, Juliet initially claims no desire for revenge. However, after witnessing the death of a Red Whirlwind ally, Lancelot, she resolves to seek vengeance. She discards her male disguise and leads a rebellion of Capulet loyalists against Montague. By nature, she is pacifistic and kind, always seeking non-violent solutions to conflicts.
She often finds herself torn between her duties as the last Capulet and her love for Romeo. They meet briefly at the Montague Rose Ball, with Juliet only managing to introduce herself when they encounter each other again in a field of irises. Upon learning that Romeo belongs to the Montague family, she tries, unsuccessfully, to distance herself from him. Eventually, they escape their responsibilities and pledge themselves to each other in an abandoned temple, living in peace for a time. Captured by Montague pursuers, they are taken back to Neo Verona, where Juliet is imprisoned as a criminal. Before escaping with her allies, Romeo promises to create a future of peace. Since then, she views Lord Montague as family and fights only to bring peace to Neo Verona, honoring her vow with Romeo. Her kindness wins the hearts of the people, who eventually join her rebellion against Montague.
Late in the series, Juliet learns from Ophelia that her Capulet heritage is crucial to sustaining the Great Tree Escalus, a divine tree that supports Neo Verona. Accepting her duty to become the tree's sacrifice, she confides only in Tybalt. After Lord Montague's death, she is forcibly taken to Escalus by Ophelia. Although her comrades and Romeo rescue her, Romeo is mortally wounded in the struggle. Determined to save her home and uphold her promise to him, she voluntarily sacrifices herself, believing they will be together eternally.
