Johnny, known for his sarcasm, is a true Scotsman who enjoys tennis and golf alongside beyblading. He was the last of the Majestics to be introduced. In battles, both in and out of the stadium, he shows no mercy. Despite acting tough, he has a heart of gold, as seen in "A Lesson For Tyson." His temper is notoriously short.
Dubbed "The Gladiator of Glasgow," Johnny boasts remarkable beyblading skills. During the Majestics vs. Bladebreakers match, he loses to Kai because Kai receives advice from teammates while Johnny operates independently. His launcher resembles an axe, with Salamalyon as his bit-beast.
Kai and Johnny clash from the start. In the Japanese version, when Johnny challenges Kai, Kai dismisses him as an "ignorant bastard" and claims he prefers battling tougher opponents. Enraged, Johnny retorts that even the Queen respects him. Unimpressed, Kai suggests deepening his relationship with the Queen, showing his disdain for status. Incensed, Johnny throws his glove at Kai's back, declaring it unforgivable.
Oliver clarifies that throwing the glove signifies a duel request, a traditional combat challenge. In medieval times, such gestures were insults demanding satisfaction. Other methods included slapping the offender's face with a glove.
In season three, Johnny makes a cameo upon discovering the Barthez Battalion's cheating. He informs Tyson but notes it's too late to report them, as disqualification would disrupt the championships.
