However, his direct subordinates disagree with this assessment. Netero is older than Zeno Zoldyck, Killua’s grandfather, who is 67 years old. When Zeno was a young boy, Netero was already elderly and had fought with Maha Zoldyck, Zeno’s grandfather. Various timelines suggest that Netero is over 100 years old. His attacks can surpass the speed of sound, utilizing his Nen ability known as 'Hyakushiki Kannon' or '100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva,' which makes his strikes appear to come from another dimension due to their incredible speed.
In the Chimera Ant Arc, Netero battles chimera ants and heads towards a destined fight with the King. His assistants, Morel and Knov, acknowledge that he was the strongest Nen user 50 years ago and show great respect for his abilities.
