He is uniquely capable of reading the Closed Score and unlocking Yulia's seals. It remains unclear whether this ability is inherent or acquired with his title. Ion maintains composure in most situations and can employ Daathic Fonic Artes, although this can be draining. Ion joins the party initially at Cheagle Woods and sporadically throughout the game. Despite frequent appearances in skits, he does not participate in battles, likely due to his frail condition. When Tear and Luke meet him, he nearly faints from exerting his powers. Personality Ion is an optimistic and soft-spoken individual who tends to highlight the positive traits in people, even when their negative attributes are prominent. Though physically weak and docile, Ion is not easily manipulated. He strives to be a leader dedicated to world peace and demonstrates considerable maturity. Ion opposes being controlled and forms a separate faction to challenge Grand Maestro Mohs, the second-in-command of the Order, who adheres strictly to tradition. Ion is concerned about the world's fixation on fulfilling the Score. Unlike many Order members, he believes the Score represents just one of numerous potential outcomes. It emerges that Ion is the seventh replica of the original Fon Master Ion. Created alongside six others, he was selected for his superior abilities, while the other replicas were cast alive into Mount Zaleho volcano, as revealed by Sync, another replica. The original Fon Master Ion was terminally ill, leading Van and Mohs to create the replicas. After the original's death, the chosen replica assumed the role of Fon Master.
