Although her full name is Hinata, she prefers to be called Hina. At sixteen years old, Hina excels academically but remains incredibly naive, viewing the world with a childlike sense of wonder and innocence. She has chosen to live independently, accompanied by two teddy bears named Waka and Tono, along with her new feline friend. Hina decided to live alone to better accommodate her father's busy schedule.
Her father, who serves as the chairman of the school and owns numerous businesses, hires Shirou Asou as her bodyguard to protect her from potential kidnapping attempts. Hina has already been kidnapped nine times before, and due to her father always paying the ransom, regardless of the amount, she has become a frequent target. Over time, Hina develops deeper feelings for Shirou.
