Genthru is a player in Greed Island who initially collaborates with a large group of players to monopolize defense spell cards, enabling them to steal other players' cards using offense spell cards.
Known as the player killer "Bomber," Genthru betrays his group by utilizing his Nen ability. His two primary attacks are Count Down and Little Flower. He activates Count Down by touching someone and saying the word "Bomber" in a sentence. This triggers an invisible bomb that explodes when the command "Release" is uttered. The bomb can be deactivated by saying "I've caught Bomber" while touching Genthru, but this is prevented by Little Flower, which allows Genthru to explode whatever he touches. To make his Count Down ability effective, Genthru must explain it to his target.
When pretending not to be Bomber, Genthru tells Gon and Killua that Bomber is "most likely a Manipulation or Emission type user."
