Emily Sevensheep is a beast-girl attending the magical academy in the city-state of Ariadne, training to become a mage knight. She is one of the most accomplished cadets and serves as the class president for Class 3-C. Her personality mirrors that of Ayaka Yukihiro, often looking down on those she deems less intelligent or of lower status. Like many others, she is an ardent fan of Nagi Springfield, holding fan club member number 78. She believes that the 'older form' of Negi is actually Nagi reincarnated. Her mother is also shown to be a huge fan of Nagi.
Emily has developed a rivalry with Ayase Yue, who joined as a fellow cadet after losing her memory. Initially dismissing Yue as a 'dunce,' Emily later recognized Yue's competence in magic, seeing her ability to coordinate both of them, Beatrix, and Collet while taking down a griffin-dragon. This event proved that Yue was either on par or even more skilled than herself.
During the attack on the Royal Palace at New Ostia, Emily was erased by the "Code of the Lifemaker" while defending her comrades, disappearing into nothingness right before Yue's eyes. It initially seemed that she had died, but according to Nodoka Miyazaki, Emily has only been sent to Cosmo Entelechaia and may still be brought back into existence using the Great Grandmaster Key, though much about this remains unknown.
