Elendira is recognized as the thirteenth member of the Gung-Ho Guns and also considered the most powerful, often referred to as the "lost" number 13. She wields a large briefcase that transforms into a crossbow, from which she fires enormous red nails. Similar to Vash, Elendira frequently displays a childish and flippant demeanor, along with being flamboyant and sometimes excessively arrogant. She identifies as a transsexual (though some argue she might be a transvestite; however, her body's weight distribution and slight breast development suggest at least some estrogen treatment). Typically, she adorns herself in feminine attire, including a pillbox hat reminiscent of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' style. Underneath her clothes, she wears restraining armor, and once it is disabled, she can move at an even more superhuman speed than usual. Elendira seems to have a dislike for Legato, shooting a nail into his torso during a conversation on a Zeppelin. It is also suggested that she harbors some jealousy towards Legato, noting that his lack of a numbered position among the Gung-Ho Guns implies he exists on a different level altogether.
The only Gung-Ho Gun from the manga who does not possess one of the broken coins, Elendira was entirely absent from the anime adaptation.
