D.D. is an intergalactic police officer who had just retrieved six dangerous Maguar eggs from a band of criminals. He was en route to deliver these eggs back to his home planet when one unexpectedly hatched inside his ship. This incident caused the ship to lose control, forcing it to exit warp prematurely and crash land on Earth. During the ship's descent, the remaining unhatched eggs were ejected to different areas of Hokkaido. In Figure form, D.D. engaged in battle with the newly-hatched Maguar but found himself overpowered by its strength. To his surprise, Tsubasa—who had merged with the Ribers "Hikaru" to transform into Figure 17—easily subdued the Maguar. Realizing he cannot handle the Maguar threat alone, D.D. must rely on Tsubasa and Hikaru for assistance. To blend in with the locals, he dyes his green hair black and adopts the alias Daisuke Domoto, a photographer exploring Hokkaido's landscapes.
