Unfortunately, her methods often backfire, leading to criticism that offends her. D frequently experiments with spells on K, usually resulting in K's misfortune and declarations that he doesn't want to see her for a hundred years. One notable incident involved K being trapped in a tree for two years because she couldn't make an escape spell work. Though she aims to give K his "spring day" and constantly pursues him, what she truly desired was Y's approval. Her love potion succeeded in making K fall in love, but since she had been experimenting on humans, they nearly killed her to "share her equally." Y sacrificed himself to save her, which presumably made her more cautious about using magic. In Volume 6, it is revealed that she and Y got married.
