He is the President of the Computer Research Society, sharing a room next to the SOS Brigade. The President is only known by his title or variations of "Computer Society President," with the only known part of his name being the first syllable: "ya". He and his club have been victims of Haruhi's blackmail, forcing them to give away their best computer and set up an internet connection in the Brigade's clubroom. This incident has not been forgiven by him, leading him to frequently check the SOS Brigade website to see if they are using the computer (which they haven't), making him the main reason for their hit counter's steady increase. He has a strong passion for computers and, along with the other four members of the Computer Society, developed a basic science-fiction strategy game called The Day of Sagittarius III (there is no Day of Sagittarius I or II; they just thought III would sound cool). He later challenges the SOS Brigade to a rigged contest using their game, betting four of his club's laptops in an attempt to reclaim the originally taken computer. Despite the cheating by the Computer Society, Yuki counters by reprogramming the code during the match, and the SOS Brigade wins. Despite losing four additional laptops, the President was thrilled to have discovered a genius computer hacker who might participate in his club's activities.
