Despite his fiery profession and the fact that he accidentally incinerated his own wife—an event he chillingly notes took five minutes—Claude asserts that he is religious (though the specific faith remains unclear) and abstains from alcohol. He stands out among the series' characters by avoiding profanity, opting instead for mild expressions like "darn" or "shucks." Tragically, his journey comes to an abrupt end when he is blown up by Revy during the hunt for Greenback Jane.
