Named after one of Ken Akamatsu's staff members, she is an onmyōdō charm user from the Kansai Magic Association. She initiated trouble at the beginning of the school field trip. Known for her large breasts, she attempted to stop Negi from delivering a letter to the chief of the Kansai Magic Association, fearing improved relations between the Kansai and Kantō Magic Associations. Chigusa sought to kidnap Konoka due to the girl's immense magical potential. Holding a grudge against Western mages because her parents were killed in a great magic war twenty years ago, she planned revenge by summoning the demon god "Ryōmen Sukuna-no-Kami." To achieve this, she needed control over Konoka's vast magical reserves. Despite her abilities to summon warrior spirits and create shikigami, she also hired three mercenaries to assist in her plan. Although she succeeded in summoning the demon god using Konoka's magic, Evangeline easily defeated it. Consequently, Chigusa's plan failed. Attempting to escape, she was captured by Chachazero and is now under the custody of the Kansai Magic Association.
