Brooklyn stands out as the most formidable opponent Tyson and Kai face in the series. He is a naturally talented Beyblader, effortlessly winning without much effort. His personality has two distinct sides: one calm and seemingly gentle, and the other psychotic and aggressive. In their first encounter, Brooklyn easily defeated Kai, but lost dramatically in their second match when Kai tapped into his "true" potential.
Like Tyson, Brooklyn shares a deep bond with his bit beast. However, Brooklyn's connection manifests physically; wings resembling those of his bit beast Zeus appear on his back. His childhood significantly shaped his character. Since he always won, other children avoided playing with him, leaving him isolated. After losing to Kai, Brooklyn spiraled into madness during his match with Tyson.
Brooklyn had always relied solely on his natural talent, never exerting much energy because it was enough to win. Realizing that combining his emotions and abilities could cause more damage, his negative feelings—annoyance, frustration, and sadness—peaked. These emotions merged with the evil darkness of his demonic bit beast, Zeus. Using the King of Darkness attack, Brooklyn created a black hole that threatened to consume the entire world into his soul, declaring himself a god.
Tyson explained the true essence of Beyblading to Brooklyn, using the combined powers of his teammates' bit beasts (Kai, Ray, Max, Daichi) and Tala's Wolborg (Tala emerged from a coma to send Wolborg with its special ice attack to aid Tyson). This dispelled Zeus's darkness, restoring the world, albeit heavily damaged. With the chaos over, Tyson and Brooklyn resumed their friendly competition, free from Boris's manipulations. Tyson ultimately triumphed as Dragoon absorbed the other bit beasts' powers and defeated Zeus. They then battled again, but the final victor was left unknown.
