Bonolenov is member number 13 of the Genei Ryoudan. He dresses partially in rags and resembles a mummy. His role during the York Shin arc was minimal, but he played a significant part during the Chimera Ant arc, where he fought against the Chimera ants alongside his fellow members. Little is known about his personality or motivations for joining the Ryoudan, though he exhibited a mocking and confident demeanor during the battle.
Bonolenov hails from the Gyudondondo tribe, one of the few members of the Ryoudan not originating from Ryuuseigai. In this tribe, boys undergo a unique ritual starting at the age of three, where needles are inserted into their bodies. Over time, these needles are replaced with larger ones and eventually sticks, creating holes in their skin. The tribe members are known as "dancing warriors," likely due to the various sounds produced by these holes.
He wears bandages that cover numerous holes across his body. His Nen ability is called Battle Cantabile, where he plays music through the holes in his skin during combat. Different melodies produce different Nen effects, such as transforming his body or materializing objects.
Only two of his Battle Cantabile abilities have been revealed: The Prologue and Jupiter. The Prologue allows him to summon warrior gear, including a spear, onto his body. Jupiter enables him to create a giant sphere resembling the planet Jupiter to crush his enemies.
