After giving birth to Cain, she descended into madness and eventually leaped from the window of her institution during Cain's second visit, mistaking him for Alexis. As she lay dying, she apologized to Cain and cautioned him about his father. The name of Alexis's secret society, Delilah, is a reference to her.

It was later revealed that her spirit schemed and was responsible for Cain's suffering. Even in death, she orchestrated events from the start, exploiting Alexis's love for her to create conflict between Cain and Alexis.
