Asa is Narumi's closest confidant and a devoted admirer. Life in prison has been particularly tough for him. On his first day, he witnessed something he shouldn't have, which led to his tongue being cut out. After the fight with Narumi, Asa grew closer to Riki Oh, who gave him a flute. Despite his childlike appearance, he is likely a little person, considering he is in prison. Since he refused to follow Yomi's orders to kill Riki Oh, Yomi ended up killing him.
