Yakitate!! Japan Chapter 242 Discussion

It was so obvious that they would wrap up the series with a bread that saves tue world.



And well, it was indeed a fun ride and I digged the absurd comedy, even tho it  got indeed a bit stale towards the end.

i was gong to give this manga an 8 till i read this chapter.....then it became barely a six.

Very wtf ending indeed.

I was very disappointed about the way where the story and the genre go after Monaco Arc. I bought the physical copy of the manga up to that point but the hilarious, epic manga turned into an absurd, boring manga. That's when i decided to stop and continue reading it on internet, just for the sake of curiosity about the final conclusion, which was LAME.



vol 1 - Monaco Arc = 8/10

Post Monaco Arc - End = 5/10

I didn't even read most of the last volumes, just skimmed through the explanations and read the short dialogs.



This was the most ridiculous, facepalming ending ever.



They should have just ended it after the Monaco cup .

now I'm troubled what to score this manga.

I have only one word @ the ending. Lame.

I feel like if the manga ended any other way, it couldn't be the ridiculous Yakitate! Japan that we all love. I personally enjoyed the crazy reactions from Pierrot, Kuroyanagi, and Kawachi at the end. 7/10

                        A 'what was that' story with a 'what was that' ending. But i enjoyed it. Thanks to the translators for picking this up after it was ignored for so long

This manga was full of surprises.

I've watched the anime years ago and I sill LOLed so hard. I cant remeber how the anime ended but I'm sure it was original ending.



The story became repetitive after the Monaco Cup.  But still enjoyable, the reactions were more ridiculous in the 2nd half. The romance was non existent but I was really hoping for Tsukino X Azuma. T_T

props to the scanlators for finishing this

Fucking hilarious, loved it.  Took me years to finish though, but kudos to the scanalators, much appreciated.

I gotta admit, mid-way into the series I thought this manga kinda dragged on and was not that funny. but by the 2nd half it got hiiilarious I love all the references they just crammed in at the end of this series an the jokes were very funny i happily give this manga a good 8/10
