Yakitate!! Japan Chapter 242 Discussion

This manga was full of surprises.

I've watched the anime years ago and I sill LOLed so hard. I cant remeber how the anime ended but I'm sure it was original ending.



The story became repetitive after the Monaco Cup.  But still enjoyable, the reactions were more ridiculous in the 2nd half. The romance was non existent but I was really hoping for Tsukino X Azuma. T_T

Fucking hilarious, loved it.  Took me years to finish though, but kudos to the scanalators, much appreciated.

I gotta admit, mid-way into the series I thought this manga kinda dragged on and was not that funny. but by the 2nd half it got hiiilarious I love all the references they just crammed in at the end of this series an the jokes were very funny i happily give this manga a good 8/10

A weirdly funny way to put an end to this series. I loved the Kawachi-haired Dhalsim.

Pretty funny (repetitions, parodies...) and interesting for the bakery theme (even when the recipes seemed exagerated, the explanations were interesting).

Nice drawings until the later chapters.

Far too long for its own good. So long it had to change its recipe over the course of the series: the comedic nekketsu exploiting bakery became a running jokes manga focused entirely on super-power bread and super-power culinary reactions.



Overall score: 6.5?/10 Not sure how to round it, since I don't know how facultative the second half is.

Well.. tbh even though I really love Yakitate!! Japan the last few chapters were a little bit disappointing.. The few unserious chapters at the and were a bit unasked for (not that I didn't like them AT ALL) and they actually downgraded the manga which started and kept it up so well.
