Actually i really enjoyed this chapter. shows how much matahachi wandered so much just to find out that his place is his hometown, while musashi finds out he cant come back anymore. Ishmael said:
Maybe Matahachi turned a new leaf. Who knows. Agree. the opposition between Matahachi carin his mother and the contrary when he was young shows a boundary in time. If you think about it, Matahachi journey seems pretty useless, but the little memories of the adventure themselves are already a justification for it, its basically that what his mom meant when she says shes grateful to able to see the ocean and that Matahachi isn the strong type but the type that tries to be strong, and thats enough. Im just a little scared about the statement of him to his mother: "soon we gonna die together".
