This chapter was just peak. I didn't notice this on the first read through but Inshun walked all the way to the grassy field where his parents where killed. Just to go there and release the trauma he's held on to all these years. Beautiful. I'm happy a character like Inshun gets to live and take with him the importance of life and the people that he shares it with. The flashback and parallel with Yagyu Shekishusai on how the more dedicated a person is to the sword (or spear) the more one loses their way makes this realization for Inshun that much more enjoyable.
Musashi fought and matured in this arc at Hozoin temple and the Nara mountains, and I think he made his first true friend in Inshun. By saying the next time they meet they should try not to kill each other, you could see the joy in Musashi's face in being held as a contemporary in a skilled opponent like Inshun. The elation is unexplainable. And it looks like Jotaro's along for the ride too. Next stop, the Yagyu residence where Otsu lies!
