REAL Chapter 13 Discussion

Awesome chapter!



I was really glad to see Kiyoharu's speeches and determination did make an impact on the rest of the team; seeing Yonezawa take a stand against that negative guy and declare that he just wants to win, was really inspiring.

The way that that guy limits his own potential and brings down the morale of the team by reminding them of the victim mentality enforced on them; is really well handled.



This particular character's mindset made me reflect on myself and question whether I was more like Yonezawa & Kiyoharu or the other guy.



I feel like REAL is even more thought provoking than Vagabond in a way.

Seems like the Tigers  will be fine, they got a good wake up call.

Lots of conflict within the Tigers..

The Tigers might've lost their match against one of the best Wheelchair B-Ball teams in Japan, with Tamura acting like the asshole he was back then but they've all regained their fighting spirit and had a newfound dignity as sportsmen regardless of their predicament.



In the end, Nomiya decided to go to Nagano without a car and he found out that he'd been forgotten and replaced. Oof.
