Nobu wasn't able to play or even watch the play-offs because of his condition but he was better off not being able to do so since his team did horribly without their two aces. Nomiya had to live through every embarrassing second of his former team playing and dropping the ball at the very first round of the tournament he practiced so hard for. He could've been there and snatched the victory for at least a few rounds but there he was, helplessly watching at the bleachers.
At least Kiyo's got his license now.
