I mean, he was pretty bad. I can't remember when exactly, but he explicitly said this one time. And at the final battle with that guy's big arm, he told him that he was used to not fighting at his best (because he was usually beaten up and dismembered).

I gave a 10 to this manga because it kept the quality up to the end. I only missed a proper goodbye between Manji and Rin, but alas. I wonder if Manji identified the blade as being the one Doa gave to Rin, or if he forgot all about her in the ninety years that passed.
