Episode 101: Pages 70-83 of volume 6 of the Kodansha publication.

The first few chapters are a little unclear as to when they start and end, as I only had reliable information on which chapter is chapter 120 in this volume, so I'm gonna do my best to give these a proper synopsis. It seems as though the American Lieutenant fired a special bacterial weapon against the users of the power, only Tetsuo managed to evolve and adapt to it instantly, which inadvertently made him stronger. I think he also mistook the American Lieutenant as Kaori's killer (who is now also dead) and blew his head up. Wrong place wrong time for him.

stop it with the spam man! no one cares!

The empire finally dies; it seems the bio-weapon stabilized Tetsuo instead of killing him. Wasn't expecting George to meet this end but Kay seem to be doing impressively against Tetsuo even if she failed to defeat him. She also ignored Miyako's advice.

Apparently, Akira said something when American started their warcrimes.
