Did... Did that really just happen? Did Yukiji just become the best character? Like, officially? I always loved her, both the comedy and serious aspects, but this!
It's like the whole point of Hinagiku and Yukiji being in this manga was foreshadowing this very moment. It's like Yukiji revealed what her entire conscious goal was, the point behind every moronic thing she's ever done - teaching Hina the perfectionist that perfection is not always better than screwing up. Man, the sister diagnosed her perfectly and decided to use her messed up life to help.
Honestly, think about it - who is the one always having fun, getting excited and going crazy and being funny and laughing? The broke, messy, careless, stupid Yukiji. Who's the one worrying about something or feeling down about something every time she appears? The popular, perfectly athletic and pretty President Hinagiku.
Hina's always been insanely prideful (confessing first is losing, oh, boo-hoo, go jump from your unreasonably high popularity poll results) and Yukiji has been anything but. Sure, she has her own share of problems, but she at least manages to be happy, even in her much worse position. Hina really does need to learn some humility and I'm glad her sister has been shown aware of this - and apparently was working on it since forever.
Yukiji best character. Yes.
And no, I don't think Yukiji actually left for good. She's a teacher and doesn't have the money to quit that job anymore. She just left Hinagiku in that spot to ponder about what she said.
Man, it's just another of those chapters that end by sending unexpected emotional chills down your spine. Even more so than chapter 341.
